7 Very Simple Ideas to Save Money - Even You Can Do
These
Sometimes it seems impossible to
save money. Here are 7 very simple ideas that you might be able to use.
1. Instead of buying new stuff go to garage sales.
You don't have to do this
every weekend but some communities or neighborhoods will have a group sale. Take advantage of
these. You can really find some great stuff pretty cheap.
2. Drop your cable tv.
This might seem like
something you don't want to do but take a look at it. There are so many tv shows showing up
on the internet that you can watch them on your computer. If you keep your cable see if you
can lower the monthly fees.
3. Set up toy swaps with other families.
Doesn't it seem like your
kids get sick of some of their toys right away. Well it happens in other families too.
Connect with some friends, instead of buying new, swap toys with your
friends.
4. Get creative and make things.
You can find tons of ideas
for making crafts on the internet. See if you can find something your family can have fun
making.
5. Trade your movies.
This could probably be
included in toy swaps but with the price of buying or renting movies today, just trade some
with your friends.
6. Pack a lunch.
Eating out costs a lot of
money. Pack a sandwich. You will probably be eating healthier than if you eat
out.
7. Skip buying coffee or soda.
This sounds harsh doesn't
it but this really adds up to a lot of money. Just by changing this habit you can save
$100.00 a month.
Not every idea is going to pertain to you. Even if a
couple ideas make sense, you or your family can put them into practice. Then it was worth reading about all of these steps for saving
money.
By doing any of these ideas and talking to your kids about what you are doing you are teaching your
kids some great habits.
